Delictual & Personal Injury Law (incl. Motor Accident Law)

Delictual Law deals with the circumstances in which one person can claim damages from another for harm that has been suffered as a result of the latter's unlawful conduct. Personal injury law refers to a set of legal processes involved in civil cases arising as a result of wrongful or negligent conduct on the part of a third party affecting a person by means of an injury to the body, mind or emotions, as opposed to an injury to property. Motor Accident Law is a form of Personal Injury Law which deals with claims by a person who was injured in a motor vehicle accident (or the dependants of a person who died as a result of the motor vehicle accident), caused by the negligent driving of a motor vehicle.
